2,000,000 kg diverted from landfill… and it happened faster than ever.
In January this year, we officially reached 2 MILLION KG diverted from landfill! 💥
It took us over 5 years to reach our first 1 million kg.
The next million? Just over a year.
So, how did we get the ball rolling? Let’s go back to the start: 2019. 🛵
Co-founders Giorgio and Marco started collecting clothes on a scooter and donating them to charity. These efforts inspired their motivation of finding ways to recover perfectly good items and keep end-of-life items in the loop. There was a massive opportunity to do something good.
💡Fast forward to April 2023: Our first user-paid pilot
A doorstep Pickup service was born, powered by local drivers and funded by participating councils. With growing demand, we launched our first paid pilot for households in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. By June 2023, we expanded into business recycling (under our former name, RecycleSmart), helping workplaces manage hard-to-recycle waste responsibly.
And we haven’t slowed down since.
